If you’ve got a vision. If you’ve got a wish. If you’ve got some energy. If you’ve got some curiosity. If you got an itch to get more involved in your community, you should join us for the 2013 Transition Town Media Strategic Planning Day on Saturday, January 26 from 9 to 4, at at the Penn State Cooperative Extension in Smedley Park, 20 Paper Mill Rd, Springfield, 19064.
We’ll spend some time meeting each other, reviewing TTM’s many 2012 accomplishments, envisioning our future, and planning our actions for 2013. If you’d like a voice in what TTM does this year, please speak to us. The Strategic Planning Day is a great way to get a solid overview of what TTM does and to join into the group.
Last year’s event was a great stepping off point for me. I had joined the TimeBank when it was launched the previous May and had attended a few TTM events, but mostly followed them from a distance. Late in 2011, I attended a personal growth seminar and set some goals for myself including to get more involved in my community and to make a few new friends locally. The TTM Strategic Planning Session in 2012 was where I started that in earnest and boy did it work! I’d be surprised if you didn’t find the day to be similarly inspiring and a great launching pad for your getting more involved. TTM does very diverse work and programming. We likely have something that you are passionate about.
So bring that passion, idea, energy, willingness…. and voice it! See you on Saturday.
RSVP required. For more details, please see our calendar.
