Hey TTM-ers,
Do you have a hobby? A skill? A craft? A passionate pursuit? Come share it with the new TTM Re-Skilling Working Group. We meet for the first time this Sunday (3:30-5:00) to discuss logistical planning – thereafter, if you want to, plan to spend the 1st and 3rd Sunday afternoons of each month practicing and sharing your skills in the fellowship of friends at our 2:00 – 5:00 workshops. Linda Clark and I will be alternating the hosting of our workshops, at least for the time being. The opportunity to Share Skills at the Farmer’s Market each Thursday afternoon will be on our agenda, as will the advancing of a Tool Lending Library project.
We the Re-Skilling Group initiators are handcrafters of sewing, repairing, paper folding, spinning, weaving, cooking, baking, etc. We expect to attract many more skills – home and car repairs, writing, stagecraft, kid’s crafts, knitting, soldering – You Name It and We Welcome It.
Meet this Sunday, at 3:30 – 5:00 to discuss logistics at my house 981 N. Orange Street. Our house is two driveways south of the corner of N. Orange and Kirk Lane. (We are on the left side of our shared driveway – pull up as far as possible and park – don’t worry if you park anyone in, we will sort if out after.)
See you Sunday or see you soon! Kathy Lundgren
