Relearning the Skills, Folkways and Practices Our Grandparents Knew
Did your grandmother can fruits and vegetables? Did she sew, weave, knit or crochet? Were your grandparents woodworkers; could they fix a tractor?
And how about you? Can you build a treehouse, fix a bike? Slow food preparation – cooking and baking from scratch – as well as pickling and preserving seasonal foods are perennial TTM favorites.
Although this working group is not currently active, if you find these kinds of practical activities enjoyable, let us know. You may be able to start this group up again!
