The Great Simplification examines energy, the environment, the economy, human evolutionary psychology, the aggregate of 8 billion humans on a finite earth, and what it all means for our future.
The evening will start with a short excerpt from The Battle Against Climate Change, a documentary by Paul Kingsnorth that asks a crucial question for our times. This film is produced by vpro.
Discussion will follow, centered on the question posed by Paul Kingsnorth and informed by The Great Simplification.
