Transition Town Media is hosting our 3rd Annual Candlelight Gratitude Celebration and Potluck Banquet to express our community’s gratitude for the wonderful non-profit organizations in our area. Come out to the Media Community Center, 301 N Jackson St, Media on Saturday, November 15, 6pm and enjoy great food, company, and music while learning more about the groups that make Media special.
Each group will have a few minutes to tell about themselves, their goals and accomplishments. Participants will be able to learn about and to acknowledge our non-profits for all they do for our community and find out how to support them. This is also an opportunity to make useful connections between our area non-profits and their community supporters. Beer will be available and we will be asking for a $10 donation if you wish to drink beer; otherwise the event is totally free. We will also have music and plenty of great food.
Come celebrate and share your love for the volunteers and organizations that make Media “Everybody’s Hometown”! Bring the family! Everyone is welcome. We ask that guests bring something to share for the potluck dinner. Here’s to an abundance of good food and good cheer!
