The 2019 Green Sunday Local, Handmade, Small Business Gift Fair… 

is back again for its 8th year. Hosted by Transition Town Media, it’s part of our vision of a community that celebrates local talent creating handmade goods. It’s both a response and an alternative to the commercialism of Black Friday & Cyber Monday.

This year, the 8th Annual Green Sunday will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2019, so that you can get a jump on your holiday shopping, support local artists and craftspeople, have a relaxed and fun shopping experience, and save on all the driving around. The Fair will run from 1-5PM, and is located again at the Media Providence Friends School, where there is plenty of room to wander around, view all the great selections, win a raffle gift basket, eat some delicious & wholesome chow, and even find something for free at the FreeStore table. The entrance and free parking are on 4th Street between Olive & Orange.

We would love to share this holiday event with you. It features beautiful wares, made locally & lovingly by hand. You will find something for everyone on your list. So, escape the frenzy! Join us in a relaxed & festive atmosphere while listening to cheery music, enjoying savory favorites and sweet treats, and taking part in a raffle for one of several gift baskets made up from samples from each vendor. Your kids will enjoy making a Christmas gift or decoration at the crafts table too.

This wonderful event has grown bigger and more popular each year, and we look forward to seeing you there.
