I want to thank Joni Carley and her dedicated crew for putting on a wonderful event last night! The Solstice celebration was everything she promised – a warm and spirited celebration of the winter holiday season. It was a beautiful weaving together of the 3 faiths represented – Christianity, Islam, and Judaism – and a celebration of spirit that anyone could feel included in. The performers were 
excellent, the choir was joyful, the music was moving (physically and emotionally).
Thanks to all who made this wonderful event go so smoothly – Joni, first of all, and Joanne (who’s quickly becoming our logistical go-to person), Robin Harper, Kathy Lundgren, Kathy Campbell, Pat Osimo, Debbie Warden (thanks especially for her generous donation to help pay for the band), Ian Thomas, and Emma Medina-Casterjon. If I’ve missed anyone, I apologize. We also appreciate the Unitarian Universalist Church for generously offering their lovely space for this event. 
It was definitely the perfect place for it.
