Please join us for our loveliest event of the year – when we invite our local community groups to attend and be acknowledged for the wonderful work they do for our region.
Our 2nd Annual Candlelight Gratitude Event and Potluck Banquet will be held at the Media Community Center, 301 N Jackson St, Media on Saturday, November 16, 6pm. Come enjoy great food, company, and music while learning more about the groups that make Media special.
Local non-profits will have information on display and will have an opportunity to say a little about themselves, their goals and accomplishments. Participants will have a chance to acknowledge them for all they do for our community and learn how to help support them. Groups will also be able to make useful connections among each other and with their community supporters. This year, Media resident and renowned micro-brewer, Mike Kinsley has donated a special beer created just for Transition Town Media. We’ll ask for $10 at the door from those who wish to drink beer but otherwise, the evening is free.
Come celebrate and share your love for the volunteers and organizations that make Media “Everybody’s Hometown”! Everyone is welcome – kids and families too!
