Media Business Stimulus

May 2, 2024 by

During 2020’s COVID pandemic, TTGM helped promote the work of the web designers at Media Proper who, in conjunction with the Media Business Authority, set up a web page of gift cards that people could buy to help out local businesses or restaurants that were closed or doing limited business. TTGM supported the card effort by underwriting 20% of the cost of each card, giving supporters a “pay $20 for a $25 card” premium.  These cards could then be redeemed at some future date when the business returned to normal operations. From a $3000 outlay from TTGM, $15,000 in much needed revenue was generated for Media’s businesses, as well as supporting awareness in the community.
