According to James Howard Kunstler, it’s too late for solutions. That means it’s long past time to let go of our current planet-trashing lifestyle and get on with finding a way to live sustainably and harmoniously with Nature.
Here’s the big question on my mind–will we do it voluntarily or will we dare Mother Nature to slap us down? Guess who will win that one.
Many scientists, academics, journalists and concerned citizens have been issuing countless warnings for many years. Only a severe case of denial could keep us asleep at the wheel this long.
As one author put it, we are like slowly boiling brainless frogs. Frogs with brains actually jump out of a pot when it gets too warm.
