Green Sunday 2016 Wrap-up

December 11, 2016 by Sari Leave a Comment

We’re were thrilled with the success of our 2016 Green Sunday Holiday Fair! Having it at the spacious gym at Media Providence Friends School was such a treat—it made it seem all the more festive. The staff and board members at the School were gracious and helpful as we got used to our new surroundings.

As always, Green Sunday was a collaborative effort—many TTM volunteers pulled together to nail down all the details of the event. Their efforts were supported by the help of the MPFS members, and the generous donations of items from local Media businesses for our raffle baskets. We were also fortunate to have the Media Fair Trade Committee there selling Fair Trade coffee, tea, and bananas to sustain our shoppers and vendors. The TTM Free Store volunteers had a great assortment of goods from the store to give out. And PECO In-Home Assessments reps were available to sign people up for half-price energy assessments (still available if you hurry! contact them at 1-888-573-2672 and use the code TTM50 for the half-price deal).

Finally, a big thank you to all the talented local artists and crafters who helped make our Green Sunday special! In case you missed them or just want to get more of what they were selling—here is the list and how to find them.
