Bill McKibbon

We had the distinct pleasure and honor of listening to Bill McKibbon last night at Swarthmore College.  Bill spoke eloquently and passionately about the reasons we all need to wake up and face our climate crisis.  He reviewed the beginnings of 350.org and the spread of the organization’s active work throughout the world.  And he told us that the next step is to take on Big Oil and Congress, since they are standing in the way of any meaningful change.  Bill received two standing ovations and lots of spontaneous clapping throughout his talk.
